Essie Nail Art, Part I

So now that I’ve finished swatching all my Essies, it’s time to show some nail art using just those polishes.  To start off with, I took a suggestion from my Facebook page and did a pink gradient.  (Great suggestion, JoJo!)

Gradients give me a hard time, but I think I’m getting the hang of it.  This is the best gradient I’ve done, by far.  This is Essie Pink-A-Boo as the base color, with Essie Sure Shot on the tips. Pink-A-Boo has quite a shimmer. The nails are actually dry with a top coat on at this point, but they still look wet.

This is lovely, but I couldn’t stop there.

I used one of my new plates, Mash 39, with Blue Rhapsody to make fish scales!  I think this looks like a pink koi fish, what do you think?

Happy Friday!
