China Glaze Swatch Series: Turquoise and Green

Today’s continuation of China Glaze swatches morphs from the blues of yesterday to green.

First up is a turquoise, a cross between green and blue.  This polish is a bona fide classic.  It’s on multiple ‘must-have’ and ‘favorites’ lists, which is how I found out about it when I first got into this whole nail thing.   Presenting, China Glaze For Audrey.

China Glaze For Audrey

For Audrey is a pale turquoise creme.  It can also be considered Tiffany blue.  Tiffany blue –> Breakfast at Tiffany’s –> Audrey Hepburn –> For Audrey.  I don’t know whether this correlation is true, but I like to think that it is.  It is a beautiful color.  Formula wise, it is a little thick, so multiple thin coats work best.  This is three coats.

Next up is the green, called Starboard.

China Glaze Starboard

China Glaze Starboard is milky moss green creme.  The formula on this is good, just a little sheer so it required three coats for opacity.  It photographs nice and clear, but IRL it is milky.  For that reason, this gets .

As usual, I will cap off this swatch series with some nail art using only China Glaze polishes.  I’m busy working on some designs and I can’t wait to show you what I’ve come up with!

Have a great day!
